Meet christina martinez
The Heart Behind It All
Hi, I'm Christina!
I am a San Antonio transplant who lives in Houston's Northside neighborhood with my husband, son, and two dogs. When I'm not working behind the camera, you can find me on the pickleball court, exploring Houston's incredible food and beverage scene, or spending time with our beloved family who make Houston home.
My photography career started when I worked in print media.
As the managing editor of a local Houston newspaper, I told (and photographed) the stories of the people, places, and
possibilities that make our communities great. Listening with curiosity and a heart for connection are tools that I've taken from my journalism career to make me the photographer I am today.
I photograph your story to capture those special moments that will last a lifetime. A spring proposal at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens. Family photography sessions at the Houston Arboretum as fall sets in. A sunset wedding on Galveston island as the sun sets over the Gulf.
