Family and friends from near and far came together for Abby and Jonathan.
The day took place at Morgan Creek Barn in Dripping Springs. The venue was the perfect combination of elegance meets Texas hill country rustic. The exterior is painted a muted black, while the interior has hardwood floors throughout and white shiplap walls. Floor to ceiling windows in the ceremony space let in a gorgeous natural light! And the reception space is beautiful on its own with a great built-in bar and a grand wood burning fire place that is the focal point of the room.
One of my favorite memories from the day was A+J's first look and their private vows. The joy on Abby and Jonathan's faces when they saw each other for the first time was priceless. Even more special was their private vows and receiving the sacrament of the eucharist from their pastor. Hand-written vows. Words from the heart. Holding hands and praying, just them two. It was a special moment.
Abby and Jonathan had a lovely Christian wedding, followed by cocktail hour with specialty drinks and bites, and a harp artist who played all of the hits. After dinner and when the lights went down, A+J's family and friends danced the night away!
For this wedding, I shot second for lead photographer, Anna Wright Photo.
