A breastfeeding milestone to remember always

The act of breastfeeding is the perfect example of a mother’s unconditional love and that is the story these images tell.

Miranda and her daughter are celebrating their one-year milestone for her daughter’s birth, and the start of their breastfeeding journey, on Friday, August 26th. It’s been a year of love, sacrifices, and determination. To commemorate their time together, Mom booked a portrait session to capture their mother-daughter bond to remember always.

During this session, Miranda shared that her breastfeeding journey is likely on their last leg. She said breastfeeding her daughter has been one of the most beautiful, rewarding, and difficult journeys she has been on, but it has all been so worth it. 

“I’ve nourished and grown this entire human with my own body,” Miranda said. “I’ve grown a strong and beautiful bond through breastfeeding my daughter and I am forever thankful that we trudged on when it was hard and never gave up.”

Miranda’s session was at a private greenhouse on the southside of San Antonio. The greenhouse has a boho feel with plants abound, a vintage Victorian couch, swing for the little ones, beautiful light shining through, and an atmosphere that feels a little magical.
