Michelle + Jacob

a SPRING Wedding on galveston island

A spring wedding on Galveston Island

On Saturday, March 22, Michelle Guerra married Jacob Coppedge at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Galveston. It was a beautiful mass that celebrated their faith and honored their love. Sacred Heart is a historical marker in Galveston and when you visit, you understand why. The church is stunning and was the perfect setting for the couple to be married.
After mass, M&J invited everyone back to Leeland House Galveston. They did a full buyout so they could share one of their favorite restaurants on the island with heir closest family and friends. Seeing the restaurant come to life as a wedding venue was spectacular—hats off to the Leeland House staff and vendors who made it even more beautiful.
Top highlights for the evening were seeing the couple take their first dance, listening to Michelle's Dad reminisce about their days together growing up, watching Jacob dance with his Mom (I think we all cried), witnessing some very proud Aggies sing "The Aggie War Hymn," admiring Michelle's grandparents hold each other close for a slow song, and dancing the night away. When I tell you Brian with DJ Showtime Live had every single person on the dance floor, I mean it. Leeland House was live and we had a time.

Cheers to Mr. & Mrs. Coppedge!
