When Sierra and Joshua were planning their engagement session, they wanted something that was uniquely them. We discussed portraits at their neighborhood tennis courts, but ultimately we went with their favorite place to spend time together, Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

We took portraits under the iconic Six Flags waterfall, on the train and carousel, and while walking through the park. We finished the afternoon on the Ferris wheel for a special announcement: they are expecting their baby girl this fall. 

This is one of my favorite engagement sessions. While riding the Superman rollercoaster with Joshua is a top highlight, what makes this one so special is how we leaned into telling Sierra and Joshua’s story. This is where they spend weekend afternoons riding their favorite rides and spending time together. It’s their favorite place and I’m so happy I captured their first family portraits here together.
